Working with Authentic Maths and providing Authentic Maths training is possibly the most fulfilling work there is in education. Each day you can work with teachers as they are and show them the extra small strategies they need to be exactly the kind of teacher they want to be. You can work flexibly and you can balance playing a senior and important role in education with your other commitments and interests.
Authentic Maths is currently seeking associate tutors and regional leaders who can provide our training across England.
Tutors must have:
– at least 10 years teaching experience including substantial successful delivery of a numeracy or maths leadership role.
– a Masters level qualification and a significant history of reading educational research.
– the ability to command the respect of their local community of primary headteachers.
Tutors may lead training for teachers of children aged 3-8, 3-11 or 6-11. Secondary maths teachers who meet the requirements may like to consider working with the 6-11 age group.
Regional leaders must also have substantial leadership experience, either through roles in mathematics education or through having lead several primary schools.
If you meet these standards and are interested in providing training for Authentic Maths please contact Authentic Maths.
If you don’t meet these standards but you are a current established provider of primary maths professional development in your area please do get in touch as we are keen to work with and around existing providers rather than in competition with you.
